Welcome Ladies to your very own web page. It is about time that we have our own page, don't you think so? We want to tell you about who we are and what we are doing throughout the year.
We are a group of about 20 ladies who love to get together to minister to one another as well as to our community. We are a body of believers of Jesus Christ, who know of our eternal reward in Heaven. Of the 20 ladies within our church, there are eight of us who gather together every few months to plan various activities for the ladies. We have great events planned for this year, here are just a few:
April 24: Beth Moore simulcast conference at Brook wood Baptist Church from 9am-3pm. If you would like ticket information please contact Brookwood Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Beth Moore will be speaking about her new book and study "So Long, Insecurity"
April 30-May 2: Women's Retreat time!! All ladies are invited to come and enjoy diving into the Lord's Word. When we are not having devotions then lets go play on the beach, shop, and of course eat. Join us in Lincoln City for a great weekend. Oly $50 will pay for everything.
July 4: Fourth of July picnic. The whole church is invited for a picnic at Rogers Park in Forest Grove. Bring a dish to share and lets have some summer fun.
August 21: Ladies Game Night and the Secret Sister Bash. Come and join in on the games and meet your secret sister. We will also draw names again for anther round of secret sister.
October 23: It's time to start packaging our Christmas Shoeboxes. Every Christmas we send out 30 shoeboxes filled with toys, hygiene items, school supplies, etc to the kids in the Philippines. We decorate the boxes with christmas wrappings and shipp them off. It is always exciting to see those smiling photos of the kids unwrapping their gifts. Start collecting your donations early. We are also accepting money donations to help with the shipping costs
December 4: Christmas luncheon and ornament exchange. Join us for a ladies potluck and Christmas party.
